Addiction Detox Rehab

At Addiction, Detox and Rehab (ADR), we understand what a huge thing it is to decide to seek treatment at a drugs and alcohol rehab facility. Checking yourself in for treatment of addiction is overwhelming and can be frightening. Know that our friendly and supportive admissions staff, will be there to support you through every step of the process. You are making the best, most healthy decision you can for yourself and your loved ones by seeking treatment.

We know that making that first phone call and finding out about rehab can be anxiety-inducing. We want to make this step as easy for you to take as possible, so we offer free phone consultations and assessments and have put together a simple guide to our admissions process.

Admission

Admitting yourself to a rehab programme for drug or alcohol addiction can be very overwhelming, both for the clients and for their families. Our supportive and friendly team will guide you through every step of the process to help alleviate any anxiety you may feel about getting assessed and admitted. Below is a step-by-step guide to help you feel prepared for what’s involved:

Step one: First contact

You, or a loved one, can get in touch with us in whatever way you feel comfortable, by phone, sending a message online, or emailing. Our team are available 24/7 to chat and discuss any concerns or questions. They can book you in for a free assessment via telephone, or organise immediate admission if required. Our team are understanding and non-judgmental, and many find this first step to be immensely reassuring.

Step two: Assessment

At ADR we carry out a comprehensive assessment of all potential clients, free of charge. We do this for two reasons: first, to learn about you, your situation and the challenges you are experiencing so that we can identify the best way to help you and whether we can meet your needs; second, to give you the chance to ask about us and our approach, so you can feel confident we are the right provider for your rehab treatment.

We can carry out assessments via phone or face to face, and these can be done immediately if needed. This step usually takes around 30–45 minutes and is carried out prior to admission, which can follow immediately if appropriate. If the assessment is carried out in person, you will also receive a tour of our facilities.

The information we collect in the assessment will relate to your history of substance of misuse and any previous rehab experiences, your physical and mental health, your family history, your current domestic situation, and your hopes/expectations of treatment. You will also find out about how our treatment programmes work and ask any questions. Following the assessment, our medical and therapy teams will review the information collected and get back to you quickly with an outcome.

Step three: Admission or referral

Following your assessment, there will be one of two possible outcomes. Ideally, you will be accepted for treatment at ADR and you will choose to continue the process. In which case, the next step will be to arrange your admission date. Alternatively, if we determine that we are not the right rehab facility for you and cannot meet your needs, we will be able to recommend and refer you to alternative programmes better suited to you.
